As a flangemechanic you are deployed for opening and closing flange connections in pipes, but also for work on equipment and appendages (control units).

Opening pipe flanges (flange connections) is necessary when leakage occurs, when a pipe section or device has to be insulated by placing a plug-in flange or turning a spectacle flange.

 

Duties & Responsibilities;

• You are responsible for assembling and disassembling flange connections of pipes, valves, shut-off valves and other fittings in accordance with the set requirements;

• You have experience with pipelines, valves, gaskets and pipe pieces;

• You can assemble and disassemble flange connections.

• You can work independently from a drawing/experience with working according to protocol.

What do we expect from you?

• Proper command of English language is an added advantage; 

• You can work independently as well as in a team within the project teams;

• You are driven to deliver quality work;

• A valid working on flange connections according to protocol (WFPr) certificate or willingness to obtain this through us;

• A valid VCA certificate or willingness to obtain it through us;

• In possession of Handling of loads with manual lifting equipment (VVL-H) and Independent   Respiratory Protection (SOG) certifications are an advantage.

• In possession of Driving license B.
